Weekend Events Staff
If you are looking for a step on the ladder into the hospitality industry, feel you are lacking relevant skills or experience then we can help you find your feet within our events team. We require individuals who can appreciate the need for a high standard of customer care, listen and communicate effectively and work in a fast paced environment. In return we offer introductory training and the chance to learn new skills. Our shift patterns are flexible enough to work around other commitments applicants may have.

Part-time bar and waiting staff
Our part-time team at Orocco Pier is vital to maintaining a good balance of skills during the busier times of the week, especially in the evening and at weekends and we currently have opportunities for individuals with either bar or waiting experience. We aim to hone in on current skills and develop them and, over a period of time, we may look to diversify your training so that new key skills can be learnt leading to advancement within the bar and dining environment.
If you are able to commit to at least 12 hours work per week and at least one weekend shift, please proceed to the next stage of this section.
Full-time bar staff
Orocco Pier continues to develop its bar and cocktail offer. In order to meet the demands of our customers’ changing tastes and current drinking trends we are now looking to take our bar to its next level by employing a dedicated team of mixologists, baristas and servers. Through brand training and specialised courses we will offer you full training and encourage the development of your knowledge of our wide variety of products utilising our professional contacts within the drinks industry. In return we look for enthusiastic individuals who are customer focussed and have an eye for detail and an appreciation of our need for product consistency.
If you can commit to a minimum four month contract, have at least six months experience with a bar environment and are happy to work a flexible, five day out of seven shift pattern, please proceed to the next stage of this section.
Full-time waiting staff
If you are looking for a job that offers you the opportunity to enhance your waiting and customer care skills, Orocco Pier could be the place for you. We will offer you full training and encourage development while integrating you into our comfortable, friendly and efficient style of service. We aim to provide our team with detailed product knowledge of our food, wine and cocktail offer, giving them the confidence they need to look after our guests to the highest standards, even at our busiest times. Our management team at Orocco Pier work closely with all their staff to provide support and motivation and help identify the specific needs of our wide ranging customer base. Ultimately our aim is to exceed the expectations of all our customers and experience tells us that this in turn rewards our staff with a real sense of job satisfaction.
